Saraya, daughter of the ogre, hides in the walls of the Palestinian Museum, perhaps waiting for a sign to dangle her hair and reappear. Between Saraya and the search for her, there is a Palestinian legend about a girl famous for her long braids untouched by scissors, who was kidnapped by an ogre as she was playing.
Saraya, The Third Appearance, an artwork commissioned by Manar Zuabi based on Saraya, the Ogre’s Daughter: A Palestinian Fairy Tale by Emile Habibi, is a multimedia work with different components distributed throughout the Museum.
