Young Perspectives: Palestine in Focus
In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education

Presented by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in partnership with the Palestinian Museum, “Young Perspectives: Palestine in Focus” brings together around fifty photographs taken by school students, documenting details of life in their local communities and revealing the students’ relationship with the places around them.
The photographs offer glimpses of the beauty of the land: green mountains we no longer walk to or climb as we once did, to pick akkoub and sage. These spontaneous images bear witness to a landscape hemmed in, and to places once woven into everyday life, now harder to reach.
Taken by children from across the West Bank, the photographs present Palestine as they see and live it. We invite you to look closely, and to keep photographing Palestine: in the green of its grass, the red of its wild anemones, and the freshness of its mountain streams.
