Landscape photography: experiences and techniques
Teacher workshop
With Rana Abushkhaidem
In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education
Sunday 30 August 2026, 9:00–15:00
Location: the Palestinian Museum
Language: Arabic
Led by Rana Abushkhaidem and organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, this workshop asks: How can photography help us see place differently? What can an image reveal about life in the places around us? And what does it mean to photograph a landscape?
Teachers try different ways of looking at and photographing the landscape, paying close attention to detail, light and shadow, colour, distance, and angles, and to how these elements can shift the way we see place.
Through experimentation and practice, participants explore photography as a way to discover place, document our relationship to it, and open new questions that can be carried back into the classroom and into students’ own learning experiences.
Places are limited. To register, please email education@palmuseum.org.
