A rectangular pillowcase from the southern Hebron area, of orange and red linen, cotton and Syrian cloth, embroidered in fallahi cross-stitch with geometric and plant motifs worked in white, black, orange, fuchsia and other colours of silk thread.
A wedding thobe (dress) from the Jerusalem and Bethlehem area. Also known as the Abu Qutba or Janna wa Nar (Heaven and Hell) thobe, it is made of cotton and linen in the colours of red, green, and orange and Ottoman cloth. The chest panel of the thobe was made of different fabrics before being attached and was embroidered with tahriri stitches (couching) with gilded and silk threads dominated by fuchsia, pink, blue, and green colours. Neither the front and back panels of the thobe nor the shoulders bear any tatreez (embroidery).
A tatreez (embroidery) pattern of multiple motifs including the feather motif and the word Palestine in English. The pattern uses green, pink, and red silk threads.
A taqsireh (short-sleeved jacket) from the Bethlehem area, made of blue velvet and embroidered in tahriri stitch (couching) with orange silk and silver metallic threads. It has a cotton lining. The short sleeves and front panel are densely embroidered with floral motifs, while the embroidery on the back panel is sparser, and the shoulders are decorated with epaulette-like motifs. Women wore the taqsireh over a malak thobe, allowing the thobe’s long triangular sleeves (mradan) to hang below the jacket’s short sleeves.

The embroidery is worked predominantly in red silk thread, with purple, pink, beige and other colours. Dense embroidery covers the back, while blue, red, and white beads edge the pouch and embellish the upper front. Coins are fixed to the front, and three silk tassels tipped with white beads hang from the lower edge.

Jalaya (overcoat) thobe from the Akka region made from linen, it is open from the top of the chest panel to the bottom of the thobe. This thobe is distinguished by its minimal tatreez (embroidery). The tatreez it does have is comprised of silk threads in straight lines from top to bottom. The chest panel of the thobe is made of Ottoman cloth used in making a man’s qumbaz (coat), and on its open edges is crochet knitting in orange and red colours.
