This manual was designed to present a collection of guidelines to specialists and hobbyists interested in conserving and preserving heritage collections. It does so by defining conservation and preservation, identifying the external factors that cause fabric damage, and detailing the processes used in the Palestinian Museum Textile Conservation Studio. The studio manual exists to play a part in safeguarding Palestinian collective memory and making this memory accessible to researchers and all those interested. We invite all those interested in conserving and preserving heritage collections to visit the Palestinian Museum Textile Conservation Studio and learn by observation. manual_0.pdf
