On the Wing of an Angel: Clay Art Workshop with Artist Sliman Mansour

For Families and Children

Friday, January 24th | 14:00–17:00
Location: The Palestinian Museum
Open to all age groups

Clay reminds us of our beautiful childhood, when we used to create wonders with our small hands and invent worlds of imagination in the corners of open alleys. We built houses and demolished them, drew shapes, and changed them, laughed, and created without limits, driven by the spirit of adventure.

Come, friends, with your children and families, and join artist Sliman Mansour, who will be your companion and teacher in this workshop, assisted by the artist Al-Aziz Atef. Let us do back together to those magical moments and shape amazing works of art from the clay of the earth. We will begin by kneading the clay and discovering its amazing possibilities, drawing inspiration from our grandmothers’ thobes and the nature they artistically engraved, to create shapes and patterns we love. Then, we will learn coloring and dyeing techniques, resulting in a small masterpiece inspired by the works of artist Sliman Mansour.

Do not miss this wonderful experience! Join us, friends, and do not forget to register in advance, as spaces are limited!
