Families and children are the core of our priorities; therefore, we created a special programme to remain in direct contact and interaction with them. This programme includes open days that allow them to participate in fun and cultural events and activities derived from the museum’s various exhibitions and programmes. These activities are undertaken in partnership with cultural professionals, artists, and institutions as inspired by Palestinian life, heritage, issues of daily life, popular seasons, handicrafts, history and the arts alongside creative individual experiences compatible with collective memory. In this way, art, science, and heritage are fun topics- tools to enter wider worlds. Open days take place in the form of activities and events in the museum gardens and facilities, allowing children and their families a day of fun and freedom across different stations. These open days might be seasonal, such as with the olive picking season or the summer break. Participation is free of charge, through pre-registration for organisational purposes is requested.
