Location: The Palestinian Museum

Join us in a family-friendly activity during our busy summer programme to learn about manateer (Singular: mintar), the beautiful stone buildings scattered along the slopes and valleys of Palestine’s rural hills. They were long used by rural families as summer dwellings during the months of ta’zeeb when farmers spent long periods away from home as they toiled to plant or harvest their crops. We’ll make miniature copies inspired by the Palestinian artist Sliman Mansour’s mintar currently in the Museum's gardens.
